Why join the FWP ?
To belong to a large muti-sectoral network which supports common values and commitments on a score of key issues: meeting the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), implementing the Development Objectives for after 2015 and Sustainable Development Objectives, action in favour of access to water and sanitation for all etc.
To make use and know more of the French expertise on these issues on the European and international scene.
To receive privileged information on the question of water both in France and internationally.
To be in contact with professionals from all professions and horizons in the water field and to share activities for better access and better management of this resource.
To exchange, reflect and cooperate with other members and partners in Europe and internationally.
To benefit from the organisation, coordination and pooling of resources at major international events such as the World Water Forum, World Water Weeks and conferences organised by the UN. As a FWP member, you will be able to take part in its governance and permanent coordination. The FWP is a reflection of its members.
To join a working group :
The working groups of the FWP are open to all international organisations or foreign organisation who wish to collaborate with french water actors in defining of key messages and solutions on the priority topics of the FWP.

To become a FWP member as an international “individual”, you should :
– Declare that it is a legal entity under French law, in the public or private sector, that works in or plans to work in the field of water internationally, or a private individual, of any nationality, who in any way works in the water field in France or internationally;
– Join one of the six FWP colleges when requesting membership, the colledge called “Individuals, which regroups a set of international and french experts who participate in the FWP under their name rather than a particular organisation
– Pay membership fees calculated according to a schedule adapted to each budget situation.
These fees will be used to finance part of the operations at the Secretariat of the Partnership.
Fees proposed by the Bureau and validated at the Plenary Meeting of 12 July 2012 :
Private individuals (college 6):
The 2013 annual fees for an individual member are set at €50.
All new members joining during the second half of the year only have to pay half the annual membership dues for the current year.
