SEVES

SEVES (economically viable systems for water in the South) is a French association that was founded in 2007. It is based in Paris but its active members come from all over France and overseas and offer a diverse range of experience and skills in areas like hydrogeology, hydraulics, civil engineering, local public service management and contracting, financial management, economics, institutional relations and lobbying.
The association’s objectives are to:
- Promote long-term access to water and sanitation in villages and small urban centres in sub-Saharan Africa by supporting economically viable local initiatives.
- Raise awareness among local people and political and economic figures in North and South about the means for organizing long-lasting public water and sanitation services.
