Ministry of Agriculture and Food
The Minister of Agriculture and Food prepares and implements government policy in the areas of agriculture, agri-food industries, forestry and timber, marine fisheries and aquaculture. In liaison with the Minister of Economy and the Minister of Solidarity and Health, it prepares and implements the Government's policy on food. It participates in the implementation of the Government's international trade policy. As such, it is associated with France’s representation in international bodies dealing with these issues.
