French Water Academy
The French Water Academy was established in 1993 by the French Ministry for the Environment and the six French water agencies. It is a non-profit-making association that works as an inter-sectoral, multidisciplinary think tank centred on the diverse aspects of water management and its multiple uses in France, Europe and elsewhere.
The Water Academy serves as a platform for information exchanges and scientific monitoring, which means it gives a good indication of society’s requirements in terms of successful water integration, land planning and quality of life in a sustainable development framework.
