Cercle Français de l’Eau – CFE
Established in 1990, the Cercle Français de l’Eau’s ambition is to promote a proactive, ambitious water policy that satisfies the qualitative and quantitative requirements of current and future generations.
CFE groups institutional partners and professionals around representatives from local authorities and under the presidency of parliamentary figures. It communicates with public authorities to establish and implement the water policy, and was closely involved in drawing up the 1992 French water law concerning planning policies, and the law on water and aquatic environments of 2007.
