ACF - Action Against Hunger
ACF’s mission consists of saving lives via the prevention, detection and treatment of malnutrition, in particular during and following disasters and conflicts.
Through Water, Sanitation and Hygiene activities, ACF WASH programmes, set in 45 countries, aim at preventing & treating malnutrition and prevent / respond to humanitarian crisis.
Indeed, ACF works towards an integrated approach to the management of risks linked to natural disasters, integrating climate change adaptation and supporting sector coordination through standby partnership support to the Global WASH Cluster (WASH emergency coordination group).
In 2014, ACF-International was active in over 47 countries, coming to the aid of around 7 million individuals, including 3.4 million beneficiaries of WASH programmes.
