Wells of Desert

The Association works in northern Niger with the most disadvantaged nomadic and sedentary populations.
Its main missions are:
• Access to water through the construction of wells,
• The reduction of infant mortality through access to drinking water,
• Access to education through the construction of schools,
• Access to basic health care,
• Emergency food aid and support.
• The creation of women's cooperatives, enabling them to be autonomous.
To date, since the creation of the association in 2004, they have built more than 325 drinking water wells, market gardening wells, pastoral and community wells, solar boreholes, water towers.
