DANTEC Ronan

Ronan Dantec is Senator for Loire-Atlantique since 2011. He is vice-chairman of the Senate's Committee on Spatial Planning and
Sustainable Development and chairs the "International Environment - Climate - Development" Task Force.

He also chairs the specialised commission of the National Council for Ecological Transition (CNTE) in charge of the orientation and action of the National Observatory on the Effects of Global Warming (ONERC). Committed to the fight against climate change, his work aims toestablish a coherent framework for local, national and international levels of intervention on climate issues.

He is also the climate spokesperson of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) and founding president of the Climate Chance Association.
