Since 2004, 1001fontaines has been deploying an innovating social business model, to provide safe, affordable and sustainable drinking water to poor communities in developing countries.
We invest in entrepreneurs serving their community. We help them create their micro-enterprises in villages, and train them to water purification. They can thus make a living by selling water at an affordable price. These entrepreneurs are coached over time through a service platform, ensuring all their needs are addressed (jugs supply, maintenance, training...).
Today, more than 500,000 people benefit from a daily access to safe drinking water thanks to 1001fontaines.
