Météo France
Météo-France is the national meteorological and climatological service. Its primary mission is to ensure the meteorological safety of people and property. It is particularly reflected in the development of a weather alertness card indicating dangerous phenomena, their consequences and the precautions to take to protect themselves. The meteorological Vigilance system is supplemented in France by marine bulletins and avalanche risk estimation bulletins, and overseas, by a cyclone watch and warning system.
