The UCD Smart Village in Bakro, Ivory Coast d’Ivoire: a SUEZ innovation

Tangible innovation: the “Smart Village Eau Potable” demonstrator To test and optimize this new solution in real-life conditions, the village of Bakro in Côte d’Ivoire was chosen, with the help of ONEP, because of its severe shortages of borehole water, particularly in the dry season. This “Smart Village Eau Potable” covers all stages of drinking water production and distribution, using robust and proven SUEZ treatment technology. Energy self-sufficient, the solution is equipped with digital tools for remote monitoring, data collection and operating reports to ensure maximum availability and performance of the drinking water production and distribution chain on a continuous basis.
