Dynamizing support for African Transboundary Basin Organizations (TBOs) – DYNOBA
1. Improve the governance and institutional organisation of TBOs and support the introduction of new mechanisms for the autonomous and sustainable financing of TBOs
2. Strengthen water information systems for climate change adaptation, use and disseminate their products and develop decision-making tools and applications
3. Support the strategic planning of actions to improve the management of river basins, as well as the programming and management of cross-border infrastructure, including those for the preservation of ecosystems
4. Promote new ways of sharing experiences and exchanging ideas between TBOs with ANBO
Purpose:
Support transboundary water management in Africa in order to strengthen regional integration and development: build the capacities of the TBOs concerned and share experiences, for better management of water resources at basin scale
