Exchange exploring the impact of waste and debris resulting from armed conflicts and climate disasters on access to clean water and essential services, while highlighting the challenges faced and possible solutions to promote public health and ensure the realization of human rights.
Purpose:
To raise awareness about the urgent need to effectively manage waste during crises (conflicts or climate-related) and their impact on water, health, and human rights. To provide concrete recommendations for improving waste management and thereby reducing risks.
