How to act for water as a common good? The role of research and innovation

Despite notable progress, acting for Water as common good implies that stakeholders rely on new scientific knowledge to respond to the challenges and their dynamics in a context of global change. Co-constructing the most appropriate responses for the benefit of society and the environment requires identifying needs and including them in common and shared strategic research and innovation agenda that can be deployed at different scales  (national, European, international) for greater efficiency in the service of water as a common good.
