IPEMED

The Mediterranean World Economic Foresight Institute (IPEMED) is a Euro-Mediterranean think tank. This non-profit organization was created in 2006 with the mid-term aim of becoming a foundation. IPEMED is a fervent defender of building a united Mediterranean region in the conviction that economics play a crucial role in this area. Its statutory mission, recognized as in the general interest, involves bringing countries on both sides of the Mediterranean closer through economics, thus working to raise awareness of the common future and converging interests of countries North and South of the Mediterranean. IPEMED is financed by Mediterranean founding-member companies and personalities who share its values. It is independent from political powers from which it receives no funding. It is based on the principles of political independence and North-South parity in its governance and in the organization of its work.
