World Water Week 2015

23 ● 28.08.2015

The Stockholm Water World Week is a major annual event for international water stakeholders, allowing them to share and reflect together around key issues concerning the resource.

The World Water Week in Stockholm is organized annually by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI). Since 1991 it is the annual focal point for discussion and exchange for the globe’s water issues.

Each year, more than 200 structures organize meetings and sessions during the week. The Anglo-Saxon water stakeholders’ community is particularly present to discuss the technical, scientific and policy’s issues related to water resources management.

A specific theme is developed each year.

2015 will be the Sustainable Development Goals’ year, which is why the theme for the World Water Week 2015 is “Water for Development”. This edition will be held in Stockholm, from August 23rd to the 28th.

The FWP will contribute to this edition through a stand and the participation in the side event “Global climate policy & National Water Action: towards COP21 and beyond”.
